MASS is a spiritual journey into the creator within, inspired by the wisdom of the Orisha Obatala and the Buddhist pursuit of inner awakening. This journey elevates our ancestors and roots us in their strength, propelling our growth and transformation. MASS bridges ancestral veneration and self-evolution, merging traditions to guide us toward enlightenment and unity, honoring the past while igniting our spiritual evolution.

The rhythm of life pulses through my choreography, weaving together threads of joy, sorrow, love, and longing. My dancers become vessels, channeling their innermost feelings into fluid train and intricate patterns. They breathe life into silence, painting the air with their bodies.

In my quiet moments, I find inspiration in the delicate flutter of a butterfly’s wings, the plain of unspoken words, the memory of a distant sunset. These fragment communities, and suddenly, the stage becomes a canvas where emotions collide and unravel.
Balance is my muse.

The tension between strength and vulnerability, chaos and stillness, guides my movements. I seek harmony in contrasts with fierce determination of a warrior juxtaposed with the vulnerability of a fragile bloom of a lotus flower in a muddy pond.

And so, my dance creations become a mirror, a reflection of our shared humanity. Creations that invite you to feel, to connect, and to lose oneself in the ebb and flow of existence. For in that ephemeral space, where bodies merge and souls entwine…we find beauty, truth, and the essence of what it means to be alive.
